Sunday 18th March 2012

80 mile and 60 mile Reliability Trials

After last year’s successful format for the Solihull CC Back2Basics Reliability Trial, the 2012 edition will take place on Sunday 18th March starting from Earlswood, near Solihull with excellent motorway links. Again there will be two rides, 80 miles and 60 miles. The 80 mile ride passes through the Lenches and then loops around the south side of Bredon Hill while the 60 mile short cuts along the Avon towards Evesham. On both rides there will be an optional slight detour for refreshments at Evesham where the famous bread pudding can be enjoyed.

Inspired by memories of "100 in 8" in the 50s and 60s the event will impose a minimum average speed of 12.5 mph to complete the course in order to qualify for a finisher’s certificate.

Entry Fees for both rides are
£4 in advance via Paypal - NOW CLOSED
or £6 on the line

Start time from the Bull's Head, Earlswood will be , 8.30am to 9.30am for the 80 mile
